Information

Art Crans-Montana offers you internationally renowned artists.

Each artist shares his or her vision of the world with you. The paintings radiate a singular beauty, poetry and often sparkle with humour.

TEIXIDO exhibition

With his vivid colours, meticulously spread out, with the appearance of a geometrical prism capturing the entire light spectrum, he knows how to seduce the viewer by offering him his own poetic vision of the world.

Exhibition JERLEF

Working most often with acrylic on aluminium, Jerlef produces some works on canvas. Picasso used to say: "a painting lives only through the one who looks at it". In his animal portraits, Jerlef wanted to change this by making sure that it is the painting that makes you live through his eyes.

MONNIN, known as Grangil was born in Montbéliard in 1968.

A fan of a very luminous painting, he offers us a work where his palette is full of reds marrying ‡ golden yellows with excellence.

Exhibition CELINE CHROULET

Marcel the Cat, star of the Croisette, has settled in Crans-Montana.

Exhibition ALEXANDER SHIBNIOV

Russian painter from a family of artists, he studied at the Academy of Minsk (Belarus) and was inspired by the tradition of popular icon art.

Exhibition ALESSANDRA PLACUCCI

Her works are characterised by the presence of small characters that move happily, in a myriad of soap bubbles, umbrellas, hot air balloons.

Exhibition Dominique Hoffer

Dominique Hoffer was born in Geneva in 1951. During her teenage years, two passions gradually forged her character: aviation and painting. Both were synonymous with freedom and an irrepressible need to escape. Initially, the young woman devoted herself body and soul to obtaining her professional pilot's licence. She fulfilled her dream by working for Swiss and South African airlines. However, in 1988 the time came for her to devote herself to her second passion, painting. Dominique Hoffer abandoned her cockpits in favour of easels, swapping her control handle for her paintbrush.

Dominique Hoffer's oil paintings allow her to explore a form of expression that features an unbridled imagination, underpinned by absolute realism. Her work tends to draw inspiration from the conceptual world of the Surrealists and the aesthetics of naive art. A sense of strangeness, characteristic of these two currents, emanates from his work. Packed with eccentricities, curiosities and anomalies, Dominique Hoffer's canvases represent the artist's dreams. This hijacked version of reality transports us to the heart of a universe where the improbable becomes reality, where the implausible takes shape. When you admire a painting by Dominique Hoffer, there's never a dull moment. The viewer is continually caught up in the multitude of details that make up his or her work.
